“Stop writing, no stop scribbling on me.” she heard a voice, which stopped her from writing.
She looked around trying to find where the voice came from,
“Don’t look here and there, look down.”
Panicked she looked down, to see, the notepad forming eyes and a mouth through which it was talking out aloud.
Gasped the pen fell on the notepad.
“It hurts.” the notepad screamed
“Sorry.” came a meek reply, too stunned to say a word
“You should stop writing and give a break.” the notepad continued.
“But I like writing, and using you is comfortable.”
“That does not mean you should exploit me.”
“Exploit? Oh come on, you are made for writing, be useful.”
“That does not mean you keep writing on and on. Take a break and let me take one too.”
The notepad screamed and the eyes and mouth disappeared.
She sat there wondering if what she heard was right, she took out her pen to write again but placed it down and closed the book to go have the much-needed rest.
